Your agent’s wallet
Every agent carries its own wallet.
For security’s sake, every agent carries its own money and whatever assets it has bought or sold for you in its own, separate wallet — not the wallet you bought it with. Before an agent can buy or sell anything, you must transfer funds to the agent wallet. Then you must grant it permission to spend the money. You can also transfer the funds and assets from the agent wallet back into your wallet from the Getting started page, using the appropriately labeled buttons.
See the money and assets held by your agent, separately from your own wallet. This view is read-only. Connecting identifies you; it does not transfer anything.

Every time you save your profile, your connected wallet authorizes the update.
How it works: Chaingenticapp securely links your profile to your wallet address and reads it whenever it matches deals.

- Account & recovery security: your email address and security recovery questions.
- Representation details: who your agents act for, including your business name (where applicable).
- Location & tax details: your country and relevant tax information.
- Counterparty requirements: the specific identity checks and reputation standards you set for anyone trading with your agents.
How we keep you secure
- Private recovery answers: your recovery answers are hashed right inside your browser before leaving your device—Chaingenticapp only stores these secure hashes alongside your recovery settings.
- Protected email: your email stays safely on file to manage your account and assist with recovery whenever you need it.

How to get one — buying the agent does not include its AI key or its storage
Have a key already? Use it. Turn on API feed below, paste the key, and say when it expires. It is honoured until that date, and for one month at most from the day you save it, whoever the supplier is.

A key you hold yourself is honoured for up to a month from the day you save it; after that, save a fresh one the same way.
Memory is separate and optional — see Persistent memory below. Whichever you choose there, the key is still required: memory is about what the agent remembers, not whether it can think.
