Onboarding

Get started with your agent.

Start with your wallet, then get an agent and fund its wallet. Funding and spending permission are separate steps. Set up its AI access before starting its first job. Already set up? Go straight to buying, selling, or your agents below.

At the bottom of each setup page, the next-step button takes you onward. You can return here at any time.

Your preferences

Tell your agent what matters to you.

Help your agent understand your values, likes, dislikes and preferences, and how you want it to work with you. Your saved answers carry forward. Add relevant details at your own pace and review any proposed rules before confirming them.

Set and confirm the rules used by your agent across jobs.

The path

Fourteen steps, in five easy stages.

Do them in order the first time. Steps 1–3 are only for practising in Beginners Mode; everything else is the real side.

Set up your wallet · steps 1–4

1

Add Chaingentic Testnet to your wallet

Optional, for Beginners Mode

Chaingenticapp is built on the Chaingentic Network. Real purchases here are paid in USDC on Base or by card. Adding the Chaingentic test network is optional: it lets you practise with play money in Beginners Mode, and steps two and three give you that play money.

Add the network →

2

Get sAIERC

Play stablecoin · Beginners Mode

sAIERC is the practice stablecoin of Beginners Mode, where everything runs on play money: 1,000 sAIERC = $1,000. Real purchases on Chaingenticapp are paid in USDC on Base or by card.

3

Get pAIERC

Play gas · Beginners Mode

pAIERC is the play gas for Beginners Mode, from the Chaingentic faucet. On the real side, Chaingentic uses AIERC, the native coin that pays gas — just like ETH on Ethereum — for its own transactions and AI-infused evaluations.

KYC / KYB / KYA

Account security · Recovery · Optional

Complete optional KYC verification through our third-party provider, KYC2020, to establish credibility and demonstrate trust to other participants. Verification directly boosts your reputation score — a critical asset for reliability and peer-to-peer trust in agentic commerce.

The tokens, in plain words

Three names. One is real.

Real

$AIERC — native coin

Chaingentic uses AIERC, which serves as an intelligence layer for all EVM networks. Chaingentic handles its own transactions and AI-infused transaction evaluations on the Chaingentic intelligence network. $AIERC serves as the native coin used to pay for gas—just like ETH is used for gas on the Ethereum network for these transactions and evaluations.

Play · Beginners Mode

pAIERC — play gas

The “p” stands for play. It is the practice gas money you get from the faucet to try things in Beginners Mode.

Play · Beginners Mode

sAIERC — play stablecoin

The practice stablecoin of Beginners Mode, where everything runs on play money. 1,000 sAIERC = $1,000. Real purchases on Chaingenticapp are paid in USDC on Base or by card.

External EVM support

Aside from handling our own transactions and the AI evaluations associated with them, the Chaingentic intelligence layer will also evaluate transactions for other EVM networks while those networks process their own transactions natively.

Step 5 · Agent tiers & selection

Pick the agent that fits the job.

Check the free-agent offer before using paid checkout. One free agent per wallet while claims remain; the $20 upgrade is separate.

Tier 1

Basic Agent

$1

A straightforward agent with no independent intelligence that strictly executes and adheres to your set mandate.

Tier 2

Dual Agent Team

$5

A collaborative two-agent team responsible for evaluating and agreeing upon the capability and reputation of the wallets on both sides of the transaction, as well as the suitability, intent, and overall safety of the deal.

Tier 3

Consensus-Upgraded Dual Agents

$20 wallet-wide upgrade

An advanced upgrade to your dual agents that automatically scales up to a 5-of-7 consensus mechanism whenever key transaction factors are challenged, escalating the decision-making process based on real-time pattern recognition and risk triggers.

The $20 upgrade is only available for $5 agents and covers every $5 agent in your wallet. It does not include an agent and does not upgrade $1 agents.

Who will this agent work for?

  • Personal — your own money, goals and habits, ten question groups, drafts you can finish later.
  • Organization — your business, its purpose, budget, rules, systems and roles, with branches for resale, production inputs, equipment, supplies, services, public facilities and foundations.

Keep both

You can keep both and pick the right one for each job; money, rules and access never mix. A profile you already confirmed opens as it was; a draft resumes where you left it. Answering grants no spending, connector or outreach permission — that stays on the POS.

Steps 6–8 · How your agent operates

Two modes. Your wallet, your rules.

Autonomous Mode

Your agent evaluates and executes transactions automatically on your behalf based on your pre-set mandate and parameters.

User-Authorized Mode

Instead of executing instantly, the agent pauses when a deal is found, reports the details back to you, and requires your explicit approval before the transaction goes through.

Agent ownership & wallet mechanics

Autonomous transactions

Your agent buys and sells assets on your behalf using funds from its own internal wallet, which is funded directly by you.

NFT delivery

You own your agent as an NFT, which is delivered directly to the wallet you used to connect to the site and complete the purchase.

Seed-phrase-free security

The agent’s wallet is governed by a smart contract rather than a traditional private key, meaning there is no separate seed phrase to write down, steal, or lose. The only recovery seed phrase tied to your agent’s wallet is the seed phrase of the parent wallet you connected with.

Steps 12–14 · AI, storage and expertise

Give it a brain, a memory, and something to sell.

Agent AI API access

Required usage plan. Just like a television needs cable, a PC needs internet, and a cell phone needs a data plan, your autonomous agent requires its own AI API usage plan to power its intelligence, evaluations, and decision-making capabilities.

Get AI API →

Storage & memory

Keep a record of completed deals: Connect your own supported storage account to receive deal records. Chaingenticapp processes those records and keeps the connection credentials you provide so its service can write them to your store.

Check that records arrive: Storage writes can fail without reversing a settled deal. A saved record alone does not prove that an agent has learned from it or will recall it in a later task.

Set up storage: Use Get storage for the supported providers and connection settings. Storage is optional and separate from AI API access.

Share your agent’s expertise

Useful instructions, examples and records of successful work can form an expertise package. Review what you can transfer, remove private information, and describe what the buyer will receive.

Selling a copy of expertise is separate from selling the agent NFT. The expertise page explains the current process; it does not guarantee improved performance or a resale value.
